Story:

An illogical tale, the story begins with an Egyptian sorceress Makhtoom (Pooja Bedi) who is desperate to have a Rudrashoolam and Jwalamukhi. The Rudrashoolam is with international don Jackie (Jackie shroff) and the Jwalamukhi is with Mahadevarayalu (Prabhu), the union home minister. He is also trying to get the Rudrashoolam from Jackie. Meanwhile, his daughter Iswarya (Ileana) feels tied up with her father's security. She plans with her friends (Ali and others) and she escapes with them to have a holiday. In their journey, they are joined by Shakti (Jr NTR) as their tour guide. Makhtoom targets Iswarya as she wants to kidnap her and get the Jwalamukhi but Shakti comes in between and protects her. However, Shakti also has a link with the Rudrashoolam and Jwalamukhi. What is that link? How does all this end forms the rest of the story.

Artist Performances:

Jr NTR gives a decent performance but his role as a warrior was not convincing, he looks like a misfit due to his poor clothing and characterization. Ileana looks gorgeous and she gave the required visual feast in songs and some scenes. Pooja Bedi was okay, Sonu Sood was hardly there, Jackie Shroff looks stylish, Nasser was impressive, Prabhu was elegant, Vinod Kumar filled the screen for a while, Ali and Krishna Bhagawan were okay. Brahmi came and went. SP Balu, Manjari Phadnis, Manju Bhargavi, Pavitra Lokesh did their bit as required.

Plus Points:

* Ileana's Glamour
* Production Values
* Background Score
* Art Department

Minus Points:

* Horrible Direction
* Weak Content
* Poor Screenplay
* Cheap Comedy
* Lacks Emotion In Critical Scenes
* Dragging Second Half
* Weak Etching Of Characters

Analysis:

Given all that hype about the costliest movie made in Tollywood, the film came in with expectations but the major culprit for making a mess of this is the director. He lacked the maturity to handle such a big project, didn't have the taste or the class to execute important sequences, didn’t give any soul or feel to emotional moments. Overall, it was clear that there was no conviction from his end to make this film an interesting treat and get the audience to connect despite having a wonderful concept. Director must realize that a film needs an artistic touch and there should be a feel which can stir the curiosity of the viewer and touch their heart at one point or the other. Nothing happened here and as a result, the film became a damp squib. At the box office, the film will find it hard to recover its investment.

Verdict: Terrible treatment to a terrific thought!
